Just before 5 this morning, a WalMart employee was trampled to death as the glass sliding doors were broken down by 2000 anxious WalMart deal-seekers [NYT] who had been waiting outside the store for opening time.
Later in the day, two men killed eachother in Toys'R'Us with handguns during an argument [AP].
Like my sister says, online shopping looks more appealing than ever. Check out eBay or Amazon or ReCellular for used stuff.
