YouTube blocked in... Thailand? Apparently so, its been a few days without, and bloggers are saying it is over controversial material about the ex-prime minister. Sometimes it is easy to forget that this country, too, lives under a military junta. A Google search for "YouTube Thailand" brings up many posts and articles, not only from this event, but from previous blackouts, the last it seems, in April 2007 when a video was posted mocking the king.
China, yeah, ok, to be expected. Vietnam, perhaps. Thailand? Before living here, I would never have guessed.
